The museum's composing room

The museum holds more than 100 wood and lead types. Furthermore, we demonstrate our four type-setting machines: One Typograph, two Inter-Type, including one with a Teletype unit, and one Linotype machine. Our machines are operational, and the type-setting machines, which are more than 100 years old, are used for producing the types of the book that we publish every year as a gift to our more than 700 members. During all opening hours it is possible to see both hand and machine compositors at work.
